Skin type & lifestyle
The condition of your skin and your lifestyle play a major role in how aesthetic treatments are received by the body and how long the results last. Your skin type, age, tissue quality and metabolism affect everything from how fillers settle to how the skin recovers after a thread lift or how quickly Aqualyx breaks down fat cells.
Therefore, it is important that each treatment is tailored to your specific needs. During the consultation, we review factors such as skin elasticity, tissue volume, fat distribution and any previous treatments to achieve a harmonious and natural result.
Dry skin
May need more hydration for the results to last longer and look fuller. Fillers are often absorbed faster on very dry skin.
Normal skin
Often has the best conditions for an even and stable result, regardless of the type of treatment.
Oily or greasy skin
For example, with botox, increased sebum production can affect the durability. The structure of the skin can also affect how smooth the result is with thread lifting.
Mature skin

To give you the best possible experience and results, we review your goals, conditions and lifestyle before treatment. We always start from a holistic view – not only what you want to change, but also how we can best highlight what you already have.

Avoid blood-thinning medications (e.g. Ipren, Treo) at least 3 days before injection treatment.

Drink plenty of water before and after – especially during filler treatment.

Avoid alcohol the day before and immediately after treatment.

Don't exercise on the same day – especially not after Botox, Aqualyx or thread lift.

Use sunscreen and avoid strong sun for the first week.

Do not massage the area unless we have specifically recommended it.

How do I know which treatment is right for me?
We always offer an individual consultation before treatment. During the meeting, we will review your wishes, skin type, tissue quality and any previous treatments. Together we will create a customized plan that is right for you.
Does it hurt?
Yes, some treatments can be felt. This varies from person to person and depends on the treatment you are having. You may experience a stinging, burning, pressure or a burning sensation during the treatment. Some areas, such as around the mouth or where a thread lift is performed, are more sensitive than others.
We use numbing ointment or cooling methods as needed to relieve discomfort. The treatment is usually quick, and the pain is temporary – but you should be prepared for it not to be completely painless.
How long is the recovery time?
It varies depending on the treatment.
Botox and fillers: You can return to your daily life immediately, but some swelling or bruising may occur.
Thread lift and Aqualyx: You may need to take it easy for a few days afterwards.
We always go through what you should think about after your particular treatment.
When do you see the results?
Botox: Full effect is visible after about 10–14 days.
Fillers: Visible immediately, but final results after about 1 week when the swelling has subsided.
Aqualux: Results build up gradually after 2–4 weeks.
Wire lift: Provides an immediate lift, but the effect improves further within a few weeks.
How long do the results last?
