How long do the results last?
The result is average. 1.5–3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle and pigment choice. An annual touch-up is recommended to maintain intensity and shape.
Does the treatment hurt?
We use anesthetic cream before and during the treatment, which means that most people experience only mild discomfort – something like a tingling sensation or slight tingling.
How long does the treatment take?
The first treatment takes approximately 2.5–3 hours, including consultation, design, color selection, anesthesia and pigmentation.
How do the lips look immediately after the treatment?
The lips may be swollen and the color may be intense for the first few days. The swelling often subsides within 1–2 days, and the color gradually fades during the healing process.
How long is the healing time?
Surface healing usually takes 5–10 days, but the final result is only visible after 4–6 weeks when the pigment has stabilized in the skin.
Do you need a touch-up?
Yes, one touch-up after 4–6 weeks is often necessary to enhance the color and correct any unevenness after the first cure.

Can you get herpes when you tattoo your lips with permanent makeup?
Yes, if you carry the herpes simplex virus (cold sores), there is a risk that the treatment will trigger an outbreak. Tattooing your lips means exposing your skin to stress, which can reactivate the dormant virus in your body.
It is also important to know that some people can carry the herpes virus without having had visible symptoms before. In such cases, treatment can sometimes trigger the first outbreak – even if you have never had cold sores before.
Here's how you can prevent an outbreak:
To minimize the risk, we recommend that you contact your doctor before treatment to obtain antiviral medication (such as acyclovir or valaciclovir). It is usually taken as a preventative measure a few days before and after treatment. This is a safe and effective method of preventing cold sore outbreaks associated with permanent makeup.
What should I consider before and after the treatment?
Before treatment:
Moisturize your lips daily the week before – dry lips can affect the results
Avoid blood thinners, caffeine, and alcohol 24 hours before treatment
Come without makeup on your lips
Refrain from fillers at least 2 weeks before and after
If you have a tendency to herpes (cold sores) – contact us in advance. Antiviral treatment may be needed.
After treatment:
Keep lips clean and dry for the first 24 hours
Apply recommended aftercare ointment as directed.
Avoid makeup, sauna, exercise and direct sunlight for at least 7 days
Drink through a straw for the first day to avoid contact with water.
Avoid hot drinks and highly spicy foods for the first 1–3 days
Don't pick at scabs or scaling – let the skin heal naturally
No lip fillers or peeling until at least 3–4 weeks after
