Reduces redness, pigmentation and tired skin
DPL/IPL – Light for clearer skin
DPL/IPL is an effective and at the same time gentle light treatment that improves the quality of the skin in depth and provides a clearer, more even skin tone. At Reborn Avenue in Helsingborg we work with advanced DPL/IPL technology that uses multiple adaptable wavelengths to treat different skin conditions with high precision and safety.
The treatment uses pulsed light that targets specific targets in the skin, such as porphyrins in acne bacteria, melanin in age spots, and hemoglobin in superficial blood vessels. Shorter wavelengths are used to calm acne and reduce redness, while longer wavelengths penetrate deeper into the skin to stimulate collagen, even out skin tone, and improve skin texture. The result is cleaner, clearer skin with a visible glow.
DPL/IPL is suitable for both women and men who want to treat acne, rosacea, pigmentation, sun damage, superficial vessels or tired and dull skin. The treatment is individualized according to skin type and indication to ensure an effective, safe and qualitative result. The skin improvement continues for several weeks after the last treatment.

DPL/IPL – results & recovery
Particularly suitable for those of you who:
DPL/IPL is an excellent choice for those who want to improve the appearance of their skin without a long recovery period. The treatment is usually experienced as mild to moderate and usually takes 15–45 minutes depending on the area.
After the treatment, the skin may feel warm or slightly red, which usually subsides within a few hours. Pigment changes may temporarily darken before gradually fading and falling off. The skin's radiance and smoothness gradually improve over the following weeks.
For best results, a course of several treatments is recommended, tailored to the skin's needs and condition.

DPL/IPL - Questions & Answers
How many treatments are needed?
Most people achieve best results after 4–6 treatments. The number is adjusted according to skin condition, area and desired result.
How often should IPL/DPL be performed?
The treatments are performed with 3–4 week interval to give the skin time to recover and build up results.
Does the treatment hurt?
IPL/DPL is most often experienced as mild to moderate, like a quick prick of heat in the skin. The feeling is short-lived and disappears immediately after each light pulse.
Is there any recovery time?
Recovery after IPL/DPL is usually minimal. Immediately after the treatment, the skin may feel warm and slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn. This usually subsides within a few hours, but in some people the redness may persist for up to a day.
When treating pigment, the area may temporarily darken before the pigment gradually fades and falls off within a few days. Most people can return to their daily activities immediately after treatment.
When do you see results?
Some people see improvement after the first treatment, but the results build gradually and become more apparent after several treatments. The skin improvement continues even weeks after the end of the course.
Can all skin types be treated?
IPL/DPL suits many skin types, but the treatment is not suitable for everyone. Very dark skin cannot be treated with IPL/DPL due to an increased risk of side effects. Therefore, an individual consultation is always done to ensure that the treatment is safe and right for your skin.
What should I consider before treatment?
Avoid sun, solariums and sunless tanning at least 1–2 weeks before treatment. The skin should be intact, clean and free from active irritation.
What should I think about after the treatment?
Avoid sun, heat, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours. Use soothing skincare and SPF daily as recommended.
How should I take care of my skin between treatments?
To achieve the best possible results, it is important to take care of your skin even between treatments. Always use sunscreen daily, avoid the sun and solariums, and pause active products such as acids and retinol as recommended. A moisturized and calm skin gives better treatment results and reduces the risk of irritation.
Is there anything that prevents me from being treated with IPL/DPL?
IPL/DPL is not suitable for everyone. The treatment is not performed on sunburned skin or in the case of certain skin conditions, pregnancy or when using specific medications. Therefore, an assessment is always made before treatment to ensure that it is suitable and safe for you.
