At Reborn Avenue, you are the center of attention – we help you highlight your natural beauty with precision and care.
Gentle laser treatment for impure skin with a lifeless surface
Oily, shiny skin? Try it Carbon Laser Peeling
Carbon Peel, also called Hollywood Peel, is a gentle and effective laser treatment that deeply cleanses the skin and gives a clearer, fresher skin tone. At Reborn Avenue in Helsingborg, the treatment is performed with modern picolaser, which provides maximum effect with minimal impact on the skin.
An activated charcoal mask is applied to the skin and left to act for a while before being activated with a laser. The charcoal acts like a magnet for dirt, sebum and dead skin cells. As the laser passes over the skin, the charcoal particles evaporate, taking the impurities with them, while stimulating the skin to renew itself from within. The result is cleaner, smoother skin with visible radiance – without needles or recovery time.
Carbon Peel is suitable for both men and women with oily, combination or congested skin, but also for those experiencing uneven skin texture, pigmentation or tired and dull complexions. The treatment is gentle enough to be done before a night out, photo shoot or as a regular skin-enhancing routine.
With us, the treatment is adapted to your skin type and needs to provide results that are both visible and felt – with safety, precision and quality in focus.

Carbon Laser Peel - Questions & Answers
What is Carbon Peel?
Carbon Peel, also called Hollywood Peel, is a gentle laser treatment where activated carbon is used together with picolaser to deep cleanse the skin, reduce pores, balance sebum and give new radiance - without needles or recovery time.
How does the treatment feel?
The treatment is painless and feels like light, rapid pulses of heat against the skin. Many describe it as pleasant or slightly tingling.
How long does the treatment take?
A treatment takes about 30–40 minutes including cleansing and finishing products.
Do I need recovery afterwards?
No, there is no recovery time. You can return to your normal activities immediately afterwards. The skin may be slightly pink, but this will subside quickly.
How many treatments are needed?
It depends on the skin's needs, but we usually recommend a course of 3–5 treatments spaced 2–4 weeks apart for best results.
Do you get results immediately?
Yes, many people experience cleaner, softer, and fresher skin after just the first treatment. For longer-term results, repeat treatments are required.
Do I need to think about anything before the treatment?
Yes, for best results you should come with clean skin without makeup, cream or oil on the face. Avoid active sunbathing, peeling products and acid-based skin care in at least 3–5 days before the treatment, as the skin may be extra sensitive at that time. If you are unsure which products you should pause, we are happy to help you.
What should I avoid after the treatment?
Avoid direct sunlight, solariums and strong skin care products for at least 5-7 days. Always use sunscreen (SPF 50) daily during the treatment period.
Is Carbon Peel suitable for all skin types?
The treatment is suitable for most skin types, especially oily skin, clogged pores and dull skin. If you are unsure, we are happy to book a consultation first.
Are there any contraindications for Carbon Laser Peel?
Carbon Laser Peel is suitable for most skin types and can also be effective for mild to moderate acne. However, the treatment should be avoided if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have severely inflamed acne with open sores, an ongoing skin infection, active herpes or are severely sunburned. It is also not suitable if you are using certain medications that make the skin sensitive to light, such as isotretinoin. A personal skin analysis is always done before treatment to ensure that your skin is in the right condition and that the treatment will be safe and effective.
